I apologize in advance for another Covid thread, but there hasn’t been a daily thread in a few days.
Austin announced today that we will be in stage 4 for awhile even though we hit the stage 3 hospitalization metric 3 weeks ago. Also, they will change the hospitalization metric to positivity and/or new cases which solves for the problem that we should be in stage 3. Given the issues with the positivity number and the fact that the case number doesn’t necessarily tie in with hospital capacity, I’m starting to think we may never get out of stage 4. I’m most concerned with how this will affect back to school plans.
