As today is Black Monday, it makes me think how hard it is to be the family member of a football coach on the pro and college levels. Most assistant coaches move teams every two or three years whether voluntarily or involuntarily. That's gotta be tough on the family. Going from city to college town to city to wherever over and over. I could only imagine growing up and moving so much or being a spouse and having to move away from friends and the jobs they might get in those cities/towns.
Assistant coaches arent rich millionaires like head coaches, and very few of them actually get a head coaching job. And head coaches still move among the ranks too.
