Well at ninety-seven and a half years young my father is ready to go to senior living.
We have looked at several places and he likes one in Lakeway. A friend of mine had a parent there and they enjoyed it.
It will be a change for him going from being by himself at a two-story home in Horseshoe Bay to this senior apartment type living.
I feel it will be good for him to be around a lot of other people and have lots of activities to do without having to drive. It will also put him 30 minutes away from me versus an hour's drive in case he needs something.
Anyone that has helped move a parent into a senior-living apartment who has any advice on how to make this transition as easy and stress free as possible would be greatly appreciated.
