Aranda called a timeout with a second left and kicked a FG against OU when all he had to do was take a knee and run the clock out. I personally loved it myself.

That's high school rules. On that day OK fans found out they have a big target on their backs to. It'll be that way for TX and OK till they're in the SEC.

That's why they ran up the score.

3. Scoring differential among the tied teams. The team or teams with the lowest difference between points scored and points allowed in games vs. the tied teams is eliminated from consideration.

OSU had beat Baylor by 10 points and given OSU's head-to-head tiebreaker against them, Aranda could have needed to beat OU by more than 10, or be at risk if OU had beaten OSU by double-digits.

No big deal to most OU fans. Baylor was the better team. With a great coach. But we get them in Norman this fall. Baylor, OSU and OU probably all in the top 10-15 to start the year. Should be another competitive conference year.
