We’ve got nice seats in section 30, but the last several years I’ve noticed that the people around me are all different every week. Most are just there for the party, they’re in and out of their seats constantly and mostly clueless about the game. I almost enjoy away games more because the fans who travel are always all in on the game. It’s like unless it’s a huge home game, like what Georgia will be, our crowds are pretty meh. I understand people don’t want to stay to the end of blowouts against lesser opponents, but overall I’m becoming pretty disappointed in our game atmosphere. Anyone else have a similar experience? I know most of us on OB are way more into the actual football than your average fan, but we may need another “come early, wear orange, stay late” campaign. Fire away…
