Most of you are familiar with my posts last year of "My son the recruit"
He signed with the Rice Owls this February to play football.
I thought if people are interested, I can give occasional updates through his journey.
My son is Randall Royall from Houston Stratford and was recruited to play Middle Linebacker.
He was given the number 41 last week. He checks into his dorm room this Saturday.
His workouts begin at 6:00 AM Monday.
August 17th he leaves to go to Sydney, Australia to play Stanford in his first college football game.
I will keep you posted of his progress and if he redshirts or not.
Only reason I posted this is that several OB members wanted me to keep them updated.
FYI : old Longhorn Blake Brockemeyer's son committed to Rice as an outside backer for class of 2018.
