I am a large commercial GC in DFW area. We have a concern about a worker showing up for work on a job site sick that is trying to hide it because they can't afford to take off. Most trade workers are paid hourly and if they are not working, they are not getting paid. Even if they don't have the virus, they will still miss several days due to testing protocols. Larger companies usually offer some sick leave, but small Mom & Pop outfits simply can't afford to pay more than a few days.
