Alright my boys. MM is in New Braunfels, and we are going to be having drinks downtown tomorrow night, like we had tonight.

I'm calling on @Belldozer1 and Craig and whomever else lives in the area, to give the wife and kids a crappy excuse for an hour or two and come hang with us tomorrow night. @GuaranteedFresh! If you're in the area I've got a JSOC guy that could use someone to have a "chat" with--- Craig if you're around we've got good beer. Bell you'll need to leave you're "trailer" (lol) and make sure the place in gruene is cool, then come have a beer with us.

Love you guys and would love to see you.

Not anywhere close to you guys on this weekend, sorry. I've done the same thing at the same place on Memorial day weekend for a while now. Not going into details here but it's very personal.

You see, I come from a looooong line of servicemen. No doctors, no lawyers, no esteemed politicians. Just blue collar hard working ranchers & farmers that view service as a right of passage....of sorts. Heck, my dad was the first to earn a degree beyond highschool.

Tell your bud that at exactly 10pm, he knows the significance, we'll be taking a shot.

Hope you all had fun. I would've loved to be there but I only check this site about once a week...so I missed out. Great idea to get all the supreme bull$#++ers together all in one place.

I woulda made it but, the Head KauHuna Flour Bluff Chapter of OrangeBloods had to watch the Hobbits with my daughters 7yr old daughter...duty always calls!
 
I'll be back in NB on July 4, 5, & 6, and one more time after that. Clob, post an invite again closer to that time and maybe we'll get some others to come out and play.

Here’s a little New Braunfels insider info. I’ve known the Henry family for years and they’ve just sold Schlitterbahn New Braunfels and Galveston to a group called Cedar Fair. That’s so hot news it hasn’t made the news yet.

Rumor has been around town since he beat the murder rap in Missouri. Details were different though. Your wife ever going to give you a trailer park hall pass for a beer?

It'll be interesting to see what is different about Schlitterbahn once the new ownership takes hold.

Well all I can say is since old man Henry died a few years back a lot of change has happened. Of the 3 sibling owners, only one had a lick of business sense so it comes as not a shock to me. How would you like to drive around New Braunfels, seeing Schlitterbahn knowing your family owned it for 50+ years but poor business decisions forced you to have to sell out. The world’s fixing to be a lonely place for some of those family members who have sassed their ass around NB with their holier than thou persona. They have tons of hanger on friends.

I have a feeling it’ll include a lot of repairs. A buddy of mine was doing “structural maintenance” for them for a couple of years in NB. He’s a welder and he was just appalled at the condition of some of the metal structural stuff he was asked to fix a/k/a patch. He was here at the NB location but after the Kansas City fiasco happened, and he saw that the prosecutors went after contractors etc. he decided to go back to work for himself. Water has been known to have adverse effects on metal over time....another revelation: ..water is wet

I like to old days when there was a sclitherbomb..lol, just a few concrete holes to float thru and ya could start up river, used to be cabins you could rent for weekend, the one here in CC is Kaput, Foreclosed , sued, run his ass outa town type thing
 
Maybe this new group taking over will turn Warneke’s back into an open to the public river hangout and buy parcels of land outside the city dedicated for Schlitterbahn parking and bus all Schlitterbahn traffic in , yeah right who am I kidding

Well sheet balz fellas, that sounds like whole mess of fun. Sorry I missed it . . . Normally I'd pop on a cheap SW flight from Phx to Aus and kiss my better half goodbye. But her 84 yr old dad kicked the bucket on Sat so kinda tied down at the moment.

Picture this scene . . . ER Mayo Clinic . . . Dead man on table with tube in his mouth . . . All the machines are turned off . . . 4 hysterical women . . . And me with a grape, sugar free Monster energy drink in hand trying to console women. Brutal, just brutal.

So I stopped in at Camping World in New Braunfels today needing to get a license plate bracket for my trailer. I was just in there about a month ago but When I walked in today it looked like I had just walked into Gander Mtn. lite. I guess since Camping World bought Gander Mtn. they are transforming their stores to incorporate that look. Anyway they have a ton of guns, Ar's, rifles, pistols etc. A really large selection, I was kind of blown away.
