I love this stuff, sometimes more than the actual games themselves. Probably my scouting/recruiting background.

Barryn Sorrell showed out pretty good. Very good 40 time, split was just me, but killed it in the 3 cone and shuttle. Also, 2nd best bench reps for DEs. He might've improved his stock a little...or a bit more!

Jahdae Barron ran a 4.39 in the 40. Puts to rest the questions about his speed. He's a top 3 corner IMO

Mukuba ran 4.45. Dude is a ball hawk. Light in the britches and that will bump him down a few spots

Well, Blue didn't run a 4.1 as he stated he would, lol. Ran 4.38 which is good, but not going to move the needle for him

QB I think will be at least okay. Quinn playing hurt wasn't as good as he should've been. He was productive and often very, very good. Also some head scratchers.

RB should be improved, unless Glass Baxter gets hurt again

WR is in a good spot, but we have to develop a 1 and 2. I think Wingo and Moore are more than capable

TE is the biggest spot to replace besides LT. Helm was so good this year. This is a big need for someone to step up

OT is going to be a step back, but hopefully not for long. You lose a top 10 pick it will be an issue. Cam Williams will be missed, but he had so many penalties and poor play I think we have guys that can do at least the same as him

IOL will be tough from the mental side...calls and checks and what not. If the guys' brains can pick that up the talent is >>>> than what was lost

DE we will be improved

DT is going to be a huge question mark. Lost a lot of production the last two years. Run defense will take a step back

LB should be improved

CB will take a step back

S will be improved IMO even though Mukuba was the absolute balls. I really like McDonald, D Williams and the freshman J Williams. And of course Taaffe is back

Should be upgraded at punter and kicker.

Yep...Golden with a 4.29 official. As I stated many times and long ago, he was by far our best WR and it wasn't particularly close. Gonna miss that dude.

It’s better than the alternative, which is not having any for a decade and living in mediocrity. If we have to replace 10 starters a year that means we have really good players and programs in good shape. I’d like that.

What are you basing that talent conclusion on? Hutson is an average OG at best and never played a down at C. We're going to miss Majors. Neto has yet to play a meaningful snap after 3 years. When Williams went down, Goosby came in even though Baker was listed as backup RT. Connor had his best year at RG. Majors will get drafted.

Goosby has already proven he has the potential to be a high draft pick if he continues to improve. Other than Hutson proving he is average, nobody else has played a meaningful snap.

Why are you bringing up Baker and Goosby whilst discussing IOL?

I’m basing it on their talent evaluations out of HS. That doesn’t mean they will be better.

It’s almost like you didn’t read what I wrote at all or don’t understand it. (Not said as an ass, just wondering)
