But seriously the pandemic has forced fans away from the games. I figured more people would watch on tv but that's not happening. The pandemic has hurt sports bad this year. And I trace this sports year back to the effect of the pandemic.

Soccer ratings are up...so there's that.

TV viewership being down is not due to the pandemic cali.

I’m telling you boys Curling is where it’s at. I’m not sure of it’s origins but I would be willing to bet that us Texans are probably responsible for bastardizing some blue blood pastime and turning it into shuffle board. Not sure why but every time I see it on tv I have to watch it

Ok for you and weevil. This is pure speculation on my part. I should have clarified that. I love fb and I'm sorry this has happened I wish I knew why. There are so many factors.

Here is my projection of the NFL season in 2021....The TV ratings will be abismal!....NFL bigwigs will start off saying the Covid has really affected the game, but as the season pitifully grinds on it will become apparent that the gullible public has had a light bulb come on and realize they dont care if the boring games are played or not.

ESPN experience has shown us that we no longer care to watch over paid announcers and ex jocks tell us the same old stuff over and over. The next big thing will be when we extend that to noticing that the crappy games they talked about arent worth watching either.
