Texas with 2 points on 1-5 shooting at the first TV timeout. Tech leads 4-2.

Tech going for its first win in Austin since 1996.

So many empty seats in the lower bowl, even with a top-10 team visiting. Sounds like a sizeable number of Tech fans are in the FEC as well. Nice job, Shaka.

Tech leads 8-7 at the under-12 timeout.

Both teams averaging about a point a minute so far. Texas leads 12-11 at the under-8 TO.

Texas led 30-26 at the half. Tech has now gone on a 16-8 run to take a 42-38 lead at the under-12 TO.

Texas has gone over five minutes without a basket.

BBR, you must be a glutton for punishment. How can you watch that, lol?

I wasn't going to. I don't know how it happened. I must hate myself.

I'm definitely going to hate myself if it turns out I wasted two perfectly good hours to watch Tech get its first win in Austin since Mackovic and Penders were in town.

So I was sitting in the hall bathroom doing my biz and listening to the announcers and based on their language and excitement, I swear I thought we were ahead.

When I finished up and say the score, oh we were down by nine.

Ya. Context matters dudes---

I was at Scholz starting at 11:30, as daughter was swimming again at the UT center. It got crowded with b-ball game attendees and I would put it at a 50/50 crowd ratio.
