With the Boston Celtics finally putting away the Washington Wizzards I can now say the remaining four teams have one Texas Longhorn in their starting line-up. I've already mentioned KD and LaMarcus. But the Celtics have Avery Bradley at a guard slot and Cleveland has Tristan Thompson at center.

The horns haven't given us much to smile about lately hopefully this can give some of you something to smile about.

Game 1 in the Eastern Conference Finals was last night and not surprisingly Cleveland blew them out. The tv people were trying to make a big deal out of the fact that the Cavs had ten days off and the Celtics just finished a 7 game series. The truth of the matter is that the Celtics don't even belong on the same court as the Cavs. Period. And Lebron James, the greatest player in the world, is playing as good as he's ever played.

But I will say this for the Celtics, former Texas star Avery Bradley came to play. Although his three point game was off he was shooting the ball well. His defense was decent.

But on the Cavs former Longhorn Tristan Thompson was the unsung hero. He was crashing the boards, and he was a perfect 7 for 7 from the field. He was even hitting his free throws. In short along with Lebron and Kevin Love they embarrassed the Celtic bigs on their home floor.

As a serious NBA fan for most of my life, I can say that this year's Boston Celtics are the worst number one seed since the NBA started seeding teams in 1984. They didn't look that good in the first two rounds and against Cleveland they were awful beyond description. They're going to need that number one pick when the draft rolls around next month. They haven't even led for one second. Seriously. They shouldn't even bother going to Cleveland for the next two games they should forfeit they would actually look better than they way they've played the first two games.

But man Lebron James is playing incredible. You want to see true greatness in basketball then watch Lebron. He is a better player than Kobe and the next few years will prove me right. He's 6'8" 270 and an incredible athlete. I got to see him up close a few years ago when the Cavs were in Sacramento for a game. I'm convinced he would have been a vintage tight end he would have terrorized the opposition. He also would have been a great pass rusher. I'm just a big fan of LBJ.

I am hoping KD or LA get the ring. Thompson already has one and I can't imagine the Celtics winning anything.

Although I'm pulling for Cleveland I was happy to see Avery come up big. Give the Celtics for having a lot of heart.

Something else I wanted to add about Avery Bradley. He was the Celtics number one draft pick in 2010. He came in as a defensive oriented player but he has worked his bu** off and has become a good shooter as well. I've watched him during the playoffs and he has played well throughout. We only had him for one year but Avery Bradley has made me Longhorn proud.
