Ka'Morrion Pimpton TE from LSU to TCU
I can't believe this. Many thought this was one of the biggest recruiting losses that season. He is already portalling out? With regard to Jordan Washington, Ketch said "I wouldn't rate him as high as Pimpton."
Yet we didn't seem to make a move on Pimpton and let TCU grab him.

Kewan Lacy RB from Missouri to Ole Miss
Kid is from Lancaster, TX and played some at Missouri

Kam Dewberry OL from A&M to Alabama
Didn't play much, is Bama taking Aggie scraps? Was a big recruit for the Aggies

T.J. Shanahan OL from A&M to ?
Guess this wasn't a miss at all.

Shadrach Banks LB from TCU to UTSA
Originally a 4-star who signed with A&M. Cool name

Preston Stone QB from SMU to Northwestern
One of the best 2nd tier QBs

Chandler Morris QB from North Texas to Virginia
Highland Park kid

Maalik Murphy QB from Duke to Oregon State
This feels like a lateral move. I thought a big program might grab him.

Thoughts: So how do the smart mid-tier schools survive the portal as Oregon and the big schools raid them? They carefully scout the 3rd tier schools like Kansas State taking WR Amarion Fortenberry from South Florida and Wisconsin taking safety Matt Jung from Bethel.

What about the big schools? I was surprised to see Ohio State taking OT Philip Daniels from Minnesota and DE Logan George from Idaho State. OU shoring up their depleted WR corp with Keontez Lewis from Southern Illinois and Javonte Gibson from Arkansas Pine Bluff. I suppose Texas needs a scouting division for the small college schools just like we have with the high schools.

TxTech (nine 4-stars) and Ole Miss (seven 4-stars) feeling frisky signing 17 portal players each. TxTech with new money.

OU losing 30 players and adding 11. Will Washington State even exist? 36 players portalled out and only 1 in. Georgia signed no one and lost 9 out.

The three of the four top portal rbs all have extra eligibility due to the Diego Pavia lawsuit: Rashul Faison, Tawee Walker and Star Thomas.
