An 89 year-old senator won another six year term easily. A mentally incapacitated stroke victim who wears gym shorts and a hoodie won a six year term in a critical state. Regardless of which side of the aisle you’re on (I am one of the few on here that votes both sides it seems), this is not a great sign for our Democracy. When people talk about Biden’s age being a detrimental factor in the 2024 election, I will simply ignore it moving forward. The country simply doesn’t care about that for some absolutely bizarre reason.
