I asked him who they thought was tougher opponent us or Notre Dame and he said definitely us.
He said they were very worried when we had the chance to tie at the end and thought we did a better job of stopping them defensively, especially how we took their best receiver essentially out of the game.
He said Notre Dame offense was one dimensional and our offense was harder to defend.
Talked a bit about our game next season - he thought they had a ton of very experienced players this year including QB, and seemed to think it was going to be a challenge for them.
He also said they were expecting to see more Arch in the cotton bowl.
All in all it was a bit like talking with aggies - one on one they may be ok, but certainly not when they are together as a group.
