as of now, this has nothing to do with trump collusion/hacked emails/etc. this is an entirely separate issue.

"RUSSIAN MILITARY INTELLIGENCE executed a cyberattack on at least one U.S. voting software supplier and sent spear-phishing emails to more than 100 local election officials just days before last November’s presidential election, according to a highly classified intelligence report obtained by The Intercept."

this is a NSA report that was leaked last month. it proves russian attempt at interference, "specifically targeting the voter registration process."

under normal circumstances, our administration may frown upon said behavior. i doubt trump even makes a peep about it.
