Fizz....I noticed that Specs now has Balconies Single Malt available here in San Antonio for $64.00, but if you pay cash you get a 5 % discount.

The only problem now is....is it the same stuff?...The investors forced out the guy that started balconies because he kept asking for more and more money for production. Have they cut corners?....who knows?

Old horn , I am not sure. I'm on about my fourth bottle and I think the first might have been the best.But so was my HS girlfriend. They have a new limited edition SM aged in French oak but it is near impossible to find.

A friend of mine has the Balcones True Blue Cask Strength bottle and I'm waiting on him to crack it open. Being real stingy with it! I have another friend that's all into Garrison Brothers to the point he has a whole barrel of it in his home. I'm just now really enjoying whiskey.

Also anytime you pay cash you get a discount at Specs.

In a different vein, I have yet for the price found anything to beat Glenfiddich 15.

Clob...just keep asking for a fresh bottle. I never have any trouble till I get to that last few inches bottom part. Must be stronger or something.

I can say that after the bottle of the FR.Oak sat in my cabinet for a year it tastes quite good! I also recommend the Brimstone if you like SMOKE.

DPHorn, did you get it at one of the distillery event? I didn't know it had been released for a year. Lucky man. How does it compare to the regular BSM.

I was "lucky" enough to "win" the opportunity to purchase one of 200 or so bottles released in December 2014. Buy lucky and win I mean I had to drive to Waco from Houston and pay them for it. They don't ship.
