College and high school athletes are probably the least susceptible to covid 19. This is really how far we've fallen.
We are going to look back on this and regret this choice.

Not one single athlete in America, pro and college, has been hospitalized because of Covid 19. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada There have been 35 football-related deaths since 2010 and we've somehow managed to keep playing. There have been hundreds of thousands debilitating physical injuries since 2010 and we still managed to keep playing.

When the "no blood rule" first started, everyone was hyped up about it (Hep, hiv, etc). As time went on, we adapted, handled it and moved on.
If anything, with the rapid tests, why cant they do daily and pregame testing? Players are holed up in a hotel before the game. Test them before arrival and before the game. Be able to adapt with the next man up plan.
