The rule is “no player shall target and make forcible contact against an opponent with the crown of their helmet.” It also says “no player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder.”
Taffe obviously didn’t lead with the crown, and the contact to the WR’s head was incidental to the tackle and not forcible. Taffe didn’t launch himself, and since the WR turned his head toward Taffe I’d argue that he wasn’t defenseless.

I don’t want to hear shit from anyone when I say something about the mid level of Sark and PK. Their averageness is masked by elite level talent and they continually call plays that make zero sense and it has finally caught up to us.
