Good point. I don’t have an answer by any means, but is their a reason Sark never has an answer for a team there constantly blitzes. Even when the whole world knew that ASU was coming on that safety. The blueprint against Sark is blitz non-stop, right? Georgia has NFL talent and it can be understandable, but ASU stopped our run game flat out. That does concern me.

I believe that 4th and 13th play was not just quid checking off that was start giving him the correct check off to read quin is not the most talented quarterback In the country, not the smartest but the same time he's able to do what he's told and I think sark helped him with that check off. So I give that 4th and 13 play just as much to Sark as I do quinn

I agree that QE has battled and come thru when he’s had to but I also know you can’t keep rolling 7s in a dice game. Sooner or later luck leaves your ass at the alter. You touch on something several of us have been saying the whole season. He’s been hurt and can’t execute everything he needs to for the offense to excel. If he’s hurt, then sit him and play someone that’s not so you can use the entire playbook. I don’t know if we would be playing against OSU Saturday if Arch started the last few games but I can tell you against Georgia, mobile QBs gave them problems all year. One dimensional QBs got eaten alive.
Point being, you can criticize the decision to play 3 and still be one of us. 4MNC is one of us. Evidently he’s a half glass empty type of guy, but he’s still family and his point isn’t completely wrong.

As long as we are on the subject of Quinn. I couldn't find my post or thread where I mentioned that Quinn can manage a game to victory due to are great defense and all the talent around him on offense. I also mentioned that he isn't the kind of QB that can win a game for you or will Texas to victory, but also lose a game by not taking care of the ball. This is a long winded way of me eating my words and I am glad that he proved me wrong. When he threw the interception into double coverage, I assumed the worst and pretty much threw up my hands telling myself "the one thing that he couldn't freaking do, he just did. Regardless of Dark Sark airing it out on 2 and 4 with a very tired defense, he made such a big mistake that I didn't think Texas was going to dig themselves out. QE made some money throws and the Golden/Helm made some money catches for the win. Happy to eat crow.

From what little bit I understand, no. The catch was completed before the "penalty."

Agreed, but it would have moved the ball back . I am mostly pointing this out due to the hue and cry over the non call on Taffe

I hear ya, just restating what the supposed rule expert said about it. The catch establishes the spot then the penalty would go off of where the spot is. Idk man, I just yell at the TV.

Ah ok, gotcha. I'm glad it wasn't a penalty & I believe it to be the correct call BUT I thought it was 100% going to be targeting.
There were tons of missed and some bad calls for/against both teams.
