Yep. Although I think if you put an OL in front of Casey and a receiver opposite Worthy that could actually catch and doesn’t quit you could win games with Casey. I mean dude lit it up at times this year.
I wonder if it’s just a coincidence Brokermeyer and Overshown didn’t play and the defense played their best game all year? They were still bad against the run but had those 2 straight 4th down stops.
I thought they were pretty good in the run game, but still a ton of free rushers in the pass game.
They definitely weren’t perfect by any means but they only gave up 1 sack. I know Conner played quite a bit and was curious how he looked. I’ll take any kind of improvement though with the way this season has went.
Yeah. The good news is we do have some young guys already on the roster, some young guys coming in and the transfer portal. Between the 3 maybe coach Flood can find 5 guys he can put an improved OL together with. I think if the OL can get better the offense will be dynamic no matter who the QB is
If Technique is your only problem coaches will take care of that. If anyone has any doubt about coach Flood look what Alabama’s OL looks like without him
We will get there. Kyle Flood has coached a lot of really good OL’man. No reason to think he won’t here.
