There were so many more viable candidates for the Dem nomination. I know we have "never Dem" and "never GOP" factions, but at least both major parties could try. It seems both electorates of the major parties are losing their damn mind.

Uh...all you mentioned. Tulsi was probably the best but not experienced enough. Warren next, but she's become way more "political." Sanders at least had a game plan, albeit a fantasy world game plan, but at least he stuck to his guns and not soundbites a la Biden. Pete is gay and a bit pedantic with it, but at least he is coherent.

I don’t need to be inspired. One of the key priorities of a US President is national security. I just want my borders and national security protected … I don’t care how nor do I care how my President acts in doing so. Just ensure that my family is safe from foreign threats. No one currently on the left can do that. We are in for a rough, unsafe few years.
Please don't confuse my word "inspire" as if I need a politician to "move" me. I was merely speaking in general that none of those candidates make me feel like they could be even worth listening too.
