I'm drinking the koolaid because I think their D is bad and their O won't get going because we can stop the run and they didn't seem to throw well last week............

Texas 38-28

If Sanders plays then i'm thinking something like 38-35 OSU.

If Sanders doesn't play then I see something like 45-24 Texas.

I don't have a good feeling about this one but I hope i'm wrong. I just don't like our track record against running QBs.

Texas 45, osu 38
Texas is simply improving game by game. The offense with Quinn is a lot more consistent. osu has gotten their points no matter who they have played. I believe Texas will beat them by a wider margin if Texas doesn't allow their rushers to overpursue or overrun the QB pocket and if Texas can be more aggressive defensively on 3rd down.

Stillwater is a tough place to play. I'll be happy with a 1-point victory.

This. I don't even have a clue because Texas has only 1 road game against a pretty average team. This, besides Alabama, will be the toughest game they have played by far.

What I do know...every year around this time there is a game played and teams find out what they are. This is that game. Texas, going into the bye, will find out what they are. If Texas wins this game, I think they run the table. If Texas loses, I'm thinking 3-2 to finish, maybe 2-3. Games like this can make teams believe that they truly are pretty good...or we see the same issues that have plagued Texas for a decade.

I can remember some of the best Mack Brown teams with VY and Colt always seemed to struggle in Stillwater. That's exactly why I don't feel good about this one. I think it's the Mike Gundy effect. He gets his teams up to play Texas.

Suppose to be windy as hell like it was against ISU. OSU run defense is horrible. Bijan and Rojo have huge games both going over 100 yards

38-24 good guys.

We are going to win.

And afterwards we are going to Eskimo Joe'ps and drink all their beer.

Then we'll get all their tri delta ph#'s and never call them back.

It’s refreshing to see some optimism on this board for a change. Last year around this time is when things went south in a hurry!

yeah wins will do that, first season in a couple years ive watched every game up to this point.

Anyone know who the backup QB is for OSU? It doesn't look like Sanders is going to play.
Gundy’s son. I’m guessing the line is where it’s at because of Sanders availability. I would think if he was healthy then there’s no way we are favorites.

What's the scoop on Gundy's son? Any experience, film, etc? How good is he?
He's a redshirt freshman and has only played 1 play last season against TCU. He had a couple of offers from Eastern Washington and Tulane. He was a really good high school QB. His school was state runner ups his junior and senior seasons. I think if he starts on Saturday then we should win this one pretty easily.

Well we wont be setting WR Agiye Hall free this week. Sark said it would be in his best interest and the best interest of the team, for him to redshirt.

If Sanders plays at full strength - its a nail biter. BUT - the line is Texas -6 on the road. Vegas knows something. Horns by 3 touchdowns.

We must be lucky. OK's starting qb gets injured the game before TX and can't play.

Now the OSU qb gets injured the game before TX and can't play either.

Both of their games were against TCU.

Hmm

20 MPH winds saturday in Stillwater..still think heavy passing?
Stadium in Austin faces due north and south. Stadium in Stillwater faces due east and west.

There is some protection from the wind.

I still think the ball gets tossed all over the field.

brown, howe, estes & standish are all 6-1 this season and all predicting a win for the good guys

All this positive momentum just feels so good....almost kind of erotic

I didn’t realize he was already hurt and probably wasn’t going to play anyway.

Didn't know that, thanks as always

I read somewhere it's one of the few east/west stadiums in the country. I think the one at GA is another.

Bobby Dodd Stadium at Georgia Tech is North/South. The South end zone is built over former Confederate trench lines from the Battle of Atlanta. Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase...."gridiron combat"....

I don't care who OSU is missing. I fully expect Gundy to trot out a guy to take snaps who rushes for 200+ on us out of the wild cat (I actually expect Sanders to play and look fully healthy). Gundy might be letting people believe Sanders is hurt but in reality he's fine, he played last week with the same injury. The crowd will be loud and it is their homecoming game. Prepare for a fight.

As long as you keep us updated on the Astros. Right now my limited viewing time is spent on the Longhorns, dealing with the chaos in UK politics, the Ukraine War and once a week kickball.....errr....Premier League....
