Curious how many other OBs had this experience — but I was fortunate to be very close to my aunts and uncles growing up (even a troubled veteran who died too young) and they all had a big influence on me, even those who lived far away but we still saw fairly often. One provided me with a hard-to-come-by summer job as a teenager and almost all of them stoked my interest in history, sports, and other subjects that I still pay attention to today. Sadly, only one is still alive. Hope other OBs had as good an experience with theirs as I did with mine.
