I'm an old; UT ROTC Reserve Air Force Commission. Navigator, Electronic Warfare Officer. I've flown in the B-52F (CCTS), B-52D (U-Tapao RTNB), B-52G (Unnamed Bomb Sqdn), and the B-52H (CCTS Instructor). Many thousands of hours drilling holes in the sky and sitting nuclear alert. In all that time, I have never heard anyone refer to that magnificent aircraft as "fat". We always called it the "BUF", the Big Ugly F*c*er. So anytime you hear these lately come wussies call it the Big Ugly Fat Fellow, just realize they're wrong and don't know the true history. Rant over, but thanks for reading.
