So I’ve watched both documentary/shows about Simon Leviev and Anna Delvey. One thing that sticks out when they interview their victims is that they say they were good people. They say this so they don’t look like materialistic victims. The truth is they were attracted to their “fake wealth” and not so much of the cons caring ways.
Has anyone else seen these two shows?

Just finished episode 2 of the “Inventing Anna” series. Enjoying it.
Crazy people in that atmosphere of wealth.
I just finished episode 2 Inventing Anna myself. Interesting.

Simon Leviev is a sociopath. I looked up his wiki after I watched Tinder Swindler he's been like that since he was a child. I'm furious that he only served 5 months and he's doing exactly what he did before he went to prison. And his father was a crook as well.

Never heard of them. Cliff notes?
Anna Vadimovna Sorokin is a Russian convicted fraudster. Between 2013 and 2017, while living in the U.S., she pretended to be a wealthy German heiress under the name Anna Delvey, and in 2017, she was arrested after allegedly defrauding banks, hotels, and acquaintances of a total of $275,000.

Simon Leviev is an Israeli conman convicted of theft, forgery and fraud. According to The Times of Israel, between 2017 and 2019 he allegedly conned an estimated $10 million from victims across Europe in a Ponzi scheme.

Ok, I've heard of her. I watched a show on 20/20 or something like that not too long ago. She deserves every bit of prison time that she got. I'll have to check out both shows. Are they on Netflix?

Oh they both deserve a bunch of time but their victims try and make it sound like they didn’t like them because of the money and more because they were so nice. They all wanted to ride the train they just got screwed in the end. It’s crazy how Anna was given so much respect with nothing in her actual bank account. Her clothes, looks and her attitude got her what she wanted from people.

Simon Leviev was sentenced in Israel and he only got 19 months. He was paroled after only 5 months. He was arrested in Finland and was sentenced to 3 years and had to serve all of it. Imo he is far worse than Anna Sorokin. He took advantage of women looking for love. He seemed to have a thing for Scandanavian women 😂.

I'm done with Inventing Anna. I've watched 5 episodes I just don't like it. They have good actors in it the one who plays Anna is on Ozark also on Netflix.

But the storyline and the direction is mediocre. They say at the beginning "Everything on here is true except the parts that were completely made up."

Wth?

Expect another Netflix documentary soon.

Today a man named Zachary Horwitz was sentenced to 20 years in prison in another Ponzi scheme.

The latest Netflix scandal documentary is out, Downfall. Do any of you remember a couple of Boeing 737's, the MAX they were called, crashed and 346 people died within a month of each other. One was the Indonesian airline and the other was the Ethiopian airline. Anyway it's a textbook case of corporate greed.

@outhereincali says check it out 😊

They put those new engines on that plane and tried to make it so the pilots didn't have to be requalified.

Stupid.

I remember it a bit differently. I think that they tried to prevent pilot error. Ended up creating computer error.

Scammer socialite Anna “Delvey” Sorokin has been released from an upstate New York detention center and is being deported from the US after nearly a year in ICE custody, a source exclusively told The Post.

She is reportedly set to board a flight to Frankfurt Monday night, sources revealed.

Sorokin, 31, is said to be furious about the deportation, according to one close source, as she had put in an appeal to remain in the US. The appeal was meant to be heard on April 19.

She has been at the Orange County Correctional Facility in Goshen, NY, since March 25 for allegedly overstaying her visa.

She’s delusional!

+ narcissistic, psycho, sociopath
She’s not very attractive. She falls squarely within the No Go Zone.
She wasn’t conning men out of money so she didn’t have to be hot. She was just fooling hotels and banks because she played the part. But yes she’s all of that.
