Since your Old Horns seen one of these?, been a long time for me, not since I was a Kid, I think they are Endangered Species now...pretty cool pet back in the day..

They were plenty in Amarillo in 50's and 60's. There were also a lot of red ants.

Horny toads eat big red ants. Who have been displaced by fire ants anywhere with water. We've still got big red ants at the Schuetzen range in New Braunfels.

I used to find horny toads around my neck of the woods when I was playing as a kid. Haven't seen one in years though. I hope that they make a comeback.

Good god, those things are all over West Texas. Had them as pets as a kid.
