OT: Hurricane Irma Watch Thread

Well, why the fvck not? It kind of involves sports insofar as-- this big b!tch is the size of the state of Ohio and will force several games in Florida, GA and the coastal states to be moved or rescheduled.

She's a beauty too. Looks like a proper buzz saw. I wasn't intimidated by Harvey but this scowling she-demon could prove to be a Tyson like uppercut.

Anyone in Florida or in the projected path of this beast?

I'm hearing the experts talking about establishing a CAT 6 for Irma, no bs. Goodbye Florida if it gets as strong as they are predicting. I really hope this prediction is only to stir up the global warming fight again because Harvey would be a tremor to Irmas biblical earthquake.

I'm ready for Hurricane season to be over with. I can't imagine another storm wreaking havoc on another state! If you are out and about in Houston alone it's quite humbling. I can't even imagine what Rockport looks like with the winds shredding everything.

Rockport area looks like a bad movie. We took my skid steer with grapple bucket down to help clean up this last weekend. Word of advice if you go, take as many cans of super high deet bug spray as possible and leave nothing uncovered. Think on the lines of beekeeper gear. The mosquitos are crazy right now.

No joke--- and I'm telling you this first hand, with eyes on personally- Parts of Rockport look like Fallujah. Literally it looks like an air burst munition went off at about 500 ft.
