. . . I’ve actually handwritten letters to family and friends and stamped and mailed them via the U.S. Mail. Not sure my grown kids have ever done that, other than from summer camps. Found a stash of my own from my high school and UT days — in another century — while going through things at the old home place. Even better, found a treasure trove of love letters my late parents wrote to each other mid-century before they got married in their early 20s. Joyful, heartwarming, and even heartbreaking — all at the same time.
