I finally gave in and bought a cheapo inversion table from academy today and results from my 1st flip are in...

I WISH I'D BOUGHT ONE SOONER!

A little "back" story for ya. Pun intended. My back was trashed thanks to an Islamic mud hut scientist a little over 10yrs ago. MRI showed 2 severely herniated discs and the docs all insisted I have surgery to fuse my spine.

I refused the surgery because I am typically ok unless I aggravate it through heavy lifting or repetitive bouncing like riding a dirt bike. When it gets inflamed, I pretty much walk like I have a corncob up my ass for 2-3weeks.

Today, after only 2mins doing a Batman impression my pain went away. Like a freaking morphine shot in the glutes it was gone!

I know it is not a permanent fix but good God it is a quick and easy tune up.
Gentleman, if any of you have a bum back that makes you eat Motrin 800s like chicklets I HIGHLY recommend giving an inversion table a shot. Mine has 4 settings 20, 40, 60, 90. I went to 60 degrees which felt like 90 and apparently was enough.

Just thought I'd throw this out there before I lay down to sleep....without pain finally.

My wife's had 4 back surgeries, after the Dr said no more, you just have to live with pain and get used to it, been for 2nd options and the same info. This opioid shit has got outa hand with these DR, There is not a special Opioid epidemic, its always been there, on the Dr situation, they got stuck, the FDA turned on them and CDC and Big Pharma to get away from them by admitting their faults in it to distance their selves, the DEA came in and put the Computer system in to monitor Dr and patients and went home free, they said we put the system in so its all on them, now all these salesman from yrs or still now had given Tickets to Super Bowl, final 4, and vacations in some cases cash, FDA said no more, but, its still happens, ever been in Dr office waiting to go back and see a Drug Rep bring in food for whole office? its not whats in the plates it 's whats under, so my thoughts are if they cannot stop, Cocaine, heroin, Meth or weed, how they gonna stop anything but, hit and miss, all the DR won't write scripts no more for pain pills hardly, they always say its the DEA, but, if you got a SR like that, then he has done something wrong, if you hadn't done anything, why be scared of the DEA? People who need the meds like Seniors and patients that are seriously sick can't get and have to resort-to other methods like what you bought, they are all too stupid to realize that everything they deem as bad in meds and deny, just makes the Street Market grow like a wildfire, so there's your war right there! For every truck they bust on the southern border with drugs, 10 more have already gone thru... sad ending for everyone who really needs meds, good to see you got a good alternative Tee!'

DRX 9000. Google it. 3 years ago my wife was damn near getting bedridden from horrible back issues. A spine doctor she had been going to and put her on the machine 3 times a week for 8 weeks. Totally changed her life. Between yoga and getting her back stretched only once a month now she is virtually pain free. The inversion table you speak of was nowhere near enough stretch for her.

Holy crap Bell, that looks like a modern version of medieval torture but I bet it works like a charm. There is an internet famous chiropractor in Houston that might be worth a visit for y'all. Look up "ring dingers" on YouTube. He has plenty of videos where he fixes life long issues too. The ringdingers is just what gets the views.

I do feel a bit bruised today from my 1st decompression but a bruised feeling is 1000x better than nerve pain. So far, I am 100% sold on inversion.

The doctors were only following orders. In 2001, the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Hospitals proclaimed pain to be an unnecessary complication. It could be dealt with by giving larger doses of the innocuous narcotics. They did this because the medical school pain specialists told them it was true. Unfortunately, it's not true. If you take narcotics much more than a month, your pain threshold actually falls. Huh. It turns out that a couple thousand years of clinical experience was wiser than the latest from academia.

I'm a multiple Marathon finisher and also lift 3 or 4 days a week (38 yrs old too). Once a week for 10 min is a great way to recover on my Iron Man 4000 table.

I'm a multiple Marathon finisher too! I outrun every VC I seen in the Nam, with Gov issue boots, not Nikes..LOL, I betcha I could bet any Fing runner that comes outa Nigeria! With AK's tracing on your ass, you get that Jesse Owns type feeling

Looks like ya in good shape!

Opioids are bad stuff long term. Anybody on them should consider CBD/Hemp Spectrum oils or capsules and get weaned off. They are over the counter and worth looking into.

Ruined my back senior year in high school. Friend was speeding on a wet road and didn’t make a turn just flew right into a bayou head on into the bank. Never the same again. I’ve had chiro work as well as yoga. It works but you have to be consistent at it. I’ve had decompression, cold laser therapy, electric therapy, etc.. one of my friends is a Chiro and he says don’t ever get surgery.

I’ve seen that ring dinger guy I like it when he does the reflex test and says “yep you can still walk”.

Got a Teeter about a year ago and it changed my life. I played college ball and competed in mixed martial arts and still train etc. and my back was getting to the point where if I didn’t roll for a few days I was in severe pain. It was impacting everything I did. I do 4 minutes a day every m/w/f and extra if I strain my back. I’m 100% now. It also helped my knees a lot. I was to the point I couldn’t shoot a proper double leg and now I can duck walk again. I’m a big advocate and I’m glad it’s working out for you man.

Good god, that "article" was as disgrace. The "retired physician" is a quack with quite an agenda.
I can only speak from personal experience in that I have seen it work on my wife. I can assure you that, that machine will put a stretching on your vertebrae that an inversion table will not. It’s really the same concept as an inversion table but with a lot more hp. Why isn’t he calling bluff on an inversion table?

Yep, when the docs detailed everything involved with fusing vertebrae, the recovery process, & success rate I refused and essentially ended my military career. Way too invasive and too high of a chance to make it worse for me.

The VA put me through a standard therapy, loaded me up with buckets of zombie pills and gave me a little shock box with 4 electrodes that was a fun expensive party toy but nothing more.
After about 2 yrs of being a pill popping alchoholic I changed my lifestyle & diet which helped me to manage the pain as long as I didn't aggravate it.
Obviously inversion won't work for everyone but I can't express how happy I am it did for me. No more pain meds, no more cripple walking, more playtime with the kiddo. Life just came back.

All I can say is if something works for someone, it is at least worth a try.
If eating German Shepard turds got rid of the pain, I would've moved next to a dog park.
As far as the article goes, you can find a contrasting view of anything on the web. Flat earthers exist.....they have "factual" websites too.

Wait... what exactly are you saying here?
WAG on my part would be that Muslims in rural areas that don't have much traditional medicine experience are more like witch doctors than actual doctors. Some of the old Muslim medicine practices are very weird--- to say the least.

I'm sure it won't compare to the inverter table for Clob, but here's another helpful thing for muscle and/or joint pain:

An electronic stimulator (TENS unit). I've found it quite helpful for neck, back, wrist, thigh, knee & foot pain. I get banged up.

Costs about $30. Amazon likes one that's $27. Search for B00O7CM12W or just search "electronic stimulator".

Some of them have a built-in battery; others use AAA, usually. (Get some rechargeable AAA's with 1000-1200 mAh.)

You used to have to go to the physical therapist or chiropractor to get this treatment. To safely do it at home, just don't attach the pads to your head or gonads. I've even used it while working.

Half the fun of owning a tens unit is shocking people with it while they sleep.

I used to know a girl that liked to.......... nevermind. Another story for another time.

This is unrelated, but y'all will like this...

In North Carolina, south of Greensboro, lies a town named Ramseur. Say that 3x fast.

Excited yet, but can't find it on the map? Well, due south, or under Rams-her is Erect, NC. That's the way they roll in NC: Ramseur is on top of Erect.

Floating above Erect and Rams-her is, of course, Climax, NC. Keep going (but not so fast, ease up a little) and you'll be in Pleasant Garden!

Link: Google Maps, yes it's all too real
(The route heads north!)
