I’m an old. We start out with a “Band of Brothers” — our family and our friends. But losses occur along the way. Family, parents, friends, children of friends fall along the way due to accident, illness, or suicide. As a student of history, sometimes I feel like life in slow motion is like Omaha Beach on D-Day in 1944. You don’t know who to the left or right of you will be the next to fall. It’s the human condition and all we can do is believe there’s a higher purpose we can’t understand. I do. Carry on my friends.
