Just finished Station 11 and am excited to watch the HBO series but I usually have another book lined up and ready to go. This time I don’t.
I love books like McMurtry set in the past though I think I’ve read all of his books that I’m going to read. Mainly I guess I like escapist fiction that takes place in the past or in a simple setting away from the modern world. Old westerns, end of the world etc but will read a variety of books besides horror or mystery really. Usually reading to go to sleep.
Would appreciate any recommendations with a sentence or 2 of what it’s about. Thanks very much, I know we have some great readers on this site!
