Here's the situation,
My wife and I have a friend of ours that is in a nasty custody case with her ex.
She lost temporary custody yesterday in Montgomery Co. to her ex under circumstances that just don't make a lot of sense to me.
The ex is just a horrible human being. He's constant;y trying to control and intimidate her, saying that he will call off the custody case if she comes back to him, gives him sex and in one of the weirder requests that I have seen, allows him to wash her hair.
On top of all the mind games that he's played on her, he's an active Ecstasy.
From what I can tell, she had horrible representation that wasn't her choice (her mom wanted her to use her lawyer and it was a disaster).
It looks like the case is moving to Williamson County and she just doesn't understand how she's in a trailing position in a custody battle against her drug-dealing, manipulative ex-boy friend.
If anyone is in family law and can offer help, council, or anything at all, please email. When she came over to our house last night, she was absolutely devastated and I told her I would reach out to the board for some sort of advice,
She basically is hitting the reset button and is in need of help at every turn.
