I ask that everyone be sensitive to my situation but I have an adopted son who is 19 years old. He has always defied how he was raised and chosen a path of personal destruction and bad decisions. Last night he was put in jail because the police found a stolen firearm in his car. I have no idea what the exact charge is or even punishment but I assume this is a felony and not a misdemeanor? How much time is he looking at? We are leaving him in jail and not getting him out as he can hopefully learn something here but who knows with this kid. It's very sad but any information anyone can share would be appreciated.
