For you other Astros fans, a combined no hitter against the Yankees today, beating Cole, which makes it sweeter.
They would be 4-0 on this NY road trip if not for that 9th inning meltdown Thursday.
Stros did this also in 2003 against the Yankees.

second time Astros have thrown a combined no no against the Yanks....in NY. Last time it was 6 pitchers Owswalt, Dotel Wagner and 3 other guys I cant remember..

Heard them say on the highlights it was from June 11th 2003. That’s the last time the Yankees have been no hit.

Houston was the last team to do it, across the street at the old Yankee Stadium in 2003. Roy Oswalt strained his right groin after his second pitch of the second inning, and Pete Munro (2⅔ innings), Kirk Saarloos (1⅓), Brad Lidge (two), Octavio Dotel (one) and Billy Wagner (one).

Couldn't have asked for a better 8 game stretch against the NY teams. 6-2 and very well could have been a sweep. One last game today against the yankees.
I just hope Alvarez and Pena are ok after their collision yesterday. Possible concussions?
