I have an IRA where i hold an MLP. From time to time it reports Unrelated Business Taxable Income.
So i get a form 990T from Fidelity. it does not indicate teh company that generated the UBTI (my guess though is Energy Transfer).
The tax seems wholly out of line with the holding. Fidelity can't or won't answer questions.
Anyone know anything about UBTI, especially from Energy Transfer (ET)
