I've recently turned in my notice(1 month) and starting a new gig. Two of my current team members have asked that I take them with me. Both of these folks are top notch engineers and I would love to bring them along.
New gig is a completely different industry and in no way a competitor to my current employer's business product so my non compete shouldn't affect anything there and I don't see anything in my employee agreement around a non poaching agreement.
I'm pretty sure non poach agreements are not enforceable in Texas anyway but I figured I would check with the OB experts who all stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
