The Left's protest of Trump's visit to the UK is being compared to their protest of Reagan's visit in the 1980's - and it is highly ironic that they were protesting Reagan as a war monger, when it was he, who single-handedly had more to do with bringing down the Berlin Wall, defeating the USSR, and establishing peace in Europe, than any other single individual.
It was Reagan's doubling down on our Star Wars Initiative and his increased spending on Defense that played heavily in raising the ante on the USSR to the extent that they decided they could not compete on an equal basis, so they folded that hand and decided to just use their power to get rich and be oligarchs - kinda like the denizens of Washington DC…in both parties.
