Anyone remember things Grandparents, et all, used to say (phrases, descriptions, etc,) that you just don't hear anymore?
I remember spending most of my summer as a kid at my Grandparent's place near Karnes City; it was as a big deal when, after supper, Grandma would ask my brother and I if we "wanted to go look at the tv."
Also, I remember her 3' x 5' index recipe cards that referred to 'oleo'.
I also remember what my my Grandpa used to say about Dennis Rodman during his Spurs days in the early 90's, but that shall remain mum...
