Was reading the thread about Universally popular bands that suck and would really like to hear from this diverse group if we have anyone that went to the "most iconic concerts in history"
I'm talking things like:
For me, I saw U2 Joshua Tree (both times, in 87 and 17), Prince on New Years Eve 99, Madonna before she went nuts, Nine Inch Nails (pretty hate machine) and I had tickets to BB License to Ill and my sister went to see Nirvana at Astro Hall (for Smells Like Teen Spirit tour).
Let's hear it.
I'm talking things like:
- Altamont
- Monterrey
- the original Woodstock
- any Beatles concert ever (especially the rooftop concert)
- Any Doors concert, in CA or FL especially, where Morrison went nuts
- Anything at the Whiskey (especially in the late 60s)
- Nirvana (the MTV unplugged especially)
- The Beastie Boys for License to Ill
- Pink Floyd The Wall (from the 80s)
