After kissing our cousin in Arlington our Houston Astros push their way to Tampa Bay for some extended spring training games against the Rays. George Steinbrenner Field still won’t sell out with a seating capacity of 26. Oops, 11,000 and 26 making it the largest Spring Training field in MLB. Yankees are loaning the stadium after Tampa Bay’s was ravaged in the hurricane last year.

Tampa Bay is 5-4 in their last 9 games making this the only bright spot on their schedule; they lose on the road as much as they lose at home. That means Ryan Pepiot will be on fire this evening, looking to halt his personal 3 game losing streak and he’s up against Colton Gordon whose 4.1 inning ERA is approaching a touchdown AND extra point.

anyone know when Alvarez’s new hand is ready to go?

Not sure who is going tomorrow but Hunter Brown is expected Wednesday.

Objective: I smell a series win. Oddsmakers have TB taking the series but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a sweep.
