I heard about this yesterday and it reminded me of a story between Bart Starr and Vince Lombardi.Vince was doing his usual rants and ass-chewing during practice one day and Bart ask to talk to Vince after practice. He told him that his dad was a military officer and can take any ass-chewing but if Vince expected him to lead this team and have the other players respect him then any ass-chewing to him needed to be in private.Vince got the message and it was never done again. The Green BAy Packers won several World Championships with Bart as QB.

Unfortunately so do I. I'm sure you remember the Cowboy qb that day Don Meredith. People close to him say he never got over that loss. And like BS Dandy Don was helluva good guy.
too bad and the fans of the Dallas cowboys would not let him forget the two championship losses to the Green Bay Packers.It think in latter years moved to Santa Fe,NM to get away from it.He was a great person to meet and told Bear Bryant he would not go to A&M because of no women and ended up at SMU.
