OB Brethren - seeking some advice and recommendations for the unnecessary situation I find myself in. Situation below:
- Amazon driver is claiming a "dog attack"
- dog has never bitten or harmed anyone
- we came out to look at the driver, who had zero physical damage but she then ran away to her car
- since then has refused to provide photographic evidence to animal control services where she filed another claim
- I just received a letter from Genthe law firm in Dallas, clearly trying to scare us into settlement
My understanding is that homeowners insurance will likely be my coverage here but I'm willing to fight this nonsensical money grab if I need to just out of principle. I'm located in San Antonio if it matters. Thanks in advance.
