Here is the scenario for a bowl pick’em I’m in and can win some decent $:

I am leading and it’s down to me and one other dude. If I pick the winner of Bama Vs OSU then I win the contest. So naturally I have the advantage as I can pick Bama and move on with life. However, I can also win if I pick the same team as the other guy since he wouldn’t be able to catch up in points.

So what is the best strategy?
Pick Alabama and ride with the Vegas favorite
-OR-
Go with the strategy that the other dude would clearly assume I would pick Bama so he is stuck with Ohio State. So if I pick OSU and we both do, I win regardless of the game’s actual outcome. If this gamble doesn’t work, I would still have another chance if OSU pulls the upset.

What say you, OB gamblers?
