SURVIVE AND ADVANCE!

Yesterday went as well as the Horns could have expected...except for the fact that they lost to Kansas in the first game. The Horns have an atrocious record when it comes to being the #1 seed in the Big 12 tournament and losing the first game. Texas now has the tall task of needing to face numerous elimination games to try and advance and put themselves in position to host a Regional. On the other side, Kansas State now faces an elimination game with their entire season on the line as they face the risk of completely missing the NCAA tournament if they fail to beat Texas.

Big 12 Tournament Schedule:
  • #1 Texas v. #5 Kansas State (9am)
  • #3 West Virginia v. #2 Oklahoma State (1230pm)
  • #4 TCU v. #8 Kansas (4pm)
  • #6 Texas Tech v. #7 Oklahoma (730pm)

If Texas were to win this morning, they will play the loser of TCU v. Kansas on Friday at 3pm.

If Texas loses this morning, they will get back on the bus and go home awaiting their road destination for Regional play.
