Lol exactly what I said is happening and everyone in the country was proclaiming he was coach of the year ! Dude was lucky as heck last year and it’s showing now !!!

Aranda is a damn good coach. Baylor lost a lot of good talent off of last year's team. They have close losses to BYU on the road, to a good OSU team, and at WVU, which is a tough place to play and BU's QB gets knocked out of the game. If Aranda were available, schools would line up to hire him. Baylor is lucky to have him.
Aranda is a really good coach. They lost 6 players to the NFL draft last year. It’s really hard to have sustained success at a smaller school like Baylor that doesn’t recruit at a high level.
I still believe Aranda is a good coach, but, fair or not, if Baylor falls apart, the perception won’t be so great. He should’ve gotten out of Wacko while the getting was good.
They returned 17 starters including both lines 2 deep second only to Kansas with 19 . Back up Qb did ok he lucked out last year on about 3 games easily. Still not sold on him as I was Matt Rhule who left him tons of talent . .
Matt Rhule brought both Temple and Baylor out of the cellar. I am sure there will be a hefty premium for his services.
Hey listen. Dave Aranda is the first coach to stop a Lincoln Riley offense.
He put a spy on C. Williams the entire game which eliminated his scrambles.
He had an athletic and experienced d. They disguised their coverages and as a result they held OK to less than 300 yards.
But what I liked most about that game is that Dave Aranda called time out with 1 second to go to kick a fg.
Lincoln Riley's reaction was classic. And for once OK had to deal with a coach who went out of his way to run up the score on the sooners.
