The whole impeachment thing has been a bit of a struggle for me to understand given how quickly it moved and how it moved right after the Mueller report in real time (events leading to it).
There had been reluctance on the parts of the Democrat leadership to do it, and then there wasn't. The Mueller report came out, and then Trump immediately did this with several people listening that have since testified. It was often said that Trump wanted impeachment. The star witness yesterday (supposedly for impeachment) was one of the ones egging this Burisma investigation on.
The whole thing smells like Trump inviting it.
Now polls are moving in his direction in swing states.
