I will preface that this is my absolute favorite superhero movie. I was watching it last night and the earthquake sequence that took Lois Lane got me thinking. Superman is believed to be just as fast as The Flash. Why did it take him so long to get to her? He has super hearing that he can hear people around the world. Then he flies all the away around the earth at speeds faster than light to reverse the earth's spin to turn back time. And then he goes opposite to spin the earth in the correct direction. It shows the water going back into the dam, the cracks in the ground fixed. But Lois and Jimmy both talk about the earthquake (as fast as The Flash). So did the damage just disappear but everyone still thinks there was an earthquake? Or did he just do enough to save Lois and the town?
