Prayers Out For Texas!

Had to drive from Austin to San Antonio this morning in rush hour when it was absolutley POURING.... spots on 35 southbound had 4-6 inches of STANDING water... and we are talking highway lanes not access road.... watched at least 3 people wipe out/wreck headed out... dont think anyone was injured... but coming back, they had 410 shut down to the point the let trafficdrive the wrong way on it to clear the area..... not sure what happened but hopefully it wasnt too bad.

They are saying this evening we had four deaths in underpasses in Houston. GOD be with those families. One man was rescued from an underpass death by a Reporter.

I am one that just turned around and went back home when it became evident that if one more raindrop hit the windshield I would not be able to see. And that was th right decision. Some areas for 16 inches of rain. My area got 4.5, but it was VERY quick.

For you and your family, I'm glad you did...

(So few drivers use common sense, it seems. You're in the minority.)
