This......this is the game that Texas turns the corner. We run a two headed monster at QB and the playbook is emptied.....nothing left on the table. The D looks to show they are the best D in the land and lock down Trill and the gang. I'm drinking gallons of the orange kool aid on an empty stomach.

TCU's D isn't as good as everyone thinks it is and it looks like they're DB's don't cover well.

I think this game will depend solely on the play calling. We have the players on offense to win (even with a hobbled OL). If our play calling focuses on being patient and the QB getting the ball to our playmakers, we will have a very good chance. In other words, our QBs (mainly Sam) have kept the ball and ran it themselves way too many times on reads instead of handing it off).

It appears that none of us are expecting a high scoring game I know I'm not. I hope this isn't premature bit if the last two games are any indication John Burt III is poised to be a difference maker. I think a lot depends on Kenny Hill. He was off target in Ames. No prediction from me. I think it will be a good one.
We've seen again and again that the offense doesn't need to be great, just needs to be average and not turn the ball over and we can win this game.
And again and again we've seen this offense not reach that standard. I don't expect the that to change against a better D
Exactly! Less bone headed mistakes and no turnovers or less than our opponents and we're always in the game. We don't have to be a high powered offense to win.

The best defense they've played so far was ISU and their relentless dime package. They managed to score 17. It's going to be a similar game and Texas only ran for 140 in that game. Same approach as last week, take away TCU strengths and hit them with quick hitters to move the ball and back them off the line. They can win this game.

i liked our chances more before iowa state beat them, only because i figured they would stumble somewhere. but i still think it's winnable. this could be the game we get over the hump. i think the d will have fun against trill-- iowa state dropped 8, which is against orlando's nature but he's smart; he'll mix things up properly. good use of the offensive personnel, a few trick plays, we get the lead early and allow our defense to make them 1-dimensional. first big win.

Unbelievable that Iowa State is ranked 15th & the Horns are unranked. I never thought I would see that.
To beat TCU, one of our large receivers is going to have to make a play or two when they get single coverage. I see this game being like the USC game.
